Word Vector

What is a Word Vector?

A vector is a series of numbers and acts like an address. A vector (address) points to a particular location within a vector space (neighbourhood). A word vector is a way of representing a word with a series of numbers so that similar words are located in the same neighbourhood. This technique is also known as vector embeddings.

Word Vectors are particularly useful in Legal NLP since they create a way of applying geometric methods to words for further analysis.
